Appfabriek · software factory with AI agents
Your app, off the line.
In twelve months, thirteen products rolled off this line, on 37 domains, from one codebase, on European servers. Now the same line builds your app for iPhone, Android and web. And then it keeps it running.
The idea
Software was too expensive for most good ideas.
An app of your own easily cost €25,000 and half a year at a classic software agency. And after launch the work only started: new versions of iOS and Android, servers, backups, security, support.
So most ideas were shelved. Or you rented software from a big platform, where you and your data are the product.
AI has broken that barrier. Agents build, test, release and keep watch. One person decides what gets built and signs off on what matters. And whatever one app needs, the next one gets for free.
- Half a year of building
- A team of developers
- Maintenance is a new project
- Chat, sessions and video calls, end-to-end encrypted
- In the App Store, Google Play and on the web
- Keeping it running: ≈ €24 a month
A shared base
What every app needs is already built and tested every day. Only what makes your app yours gets built.
Agents do the work
They build, test, release to the test environments and watch everything, day and night.
A person signs
Nothing goes to production without Geert's approval, with his passkey. Agents cannot get there themselves.
Where the line is heading: software owned by its users.
What took hundreds of developers yesterday now fits in a small workshop. That makes software owned by its users affordable. That is what p2tp, power to the people, builds. Appfabriek is the workshop.
- Open sourceYou only own what you can inspect, change and take with you.
- Cooperative ownershipSay and returns with the members, not with a platform.
- Own infrastructureOn servers at a European company. Never big tech.
The line
Agents do the work. Geert signs.
Every change, from a new app to a small fix, goes through the same stations. No manual work, until the moment a person has to decide.
Idea
You tell us in the Appfabriek app what you want. The AI assistant prepares the intake for Geert.
Build
Agents build on Casco and Dok. Every change is a pull request with tests.
Test
Thousands of automated tests, plus real journeys through the app on iPhone and Android simulators.
Accept
After a merge it lands on staging and accept by itself. That is where you look along.
25–40 min after mergeApproval
To production only after one tap by Geert, with Face ID in the Appfabriek app.
Live
On your own domain, in the App Store and in Google Play.

What's already in it
The groundwork of your app is already built.
Every app on the line stands on two parts that already exist. Casco is the app itself: one app for iPhone, Android and web, with sign-in, chat, calls, appointments, notifications and roles. Dok is where it runs: its own domain with a site, sign-in, data, monitoring and backups.
A new app is a folder with its name, domain, colour and roles. Only what makes your app yours gets built.

After launch
Going live is only the start. The line takes care of that too.
Most apps don't fail at the build, but at what comes after. That is why maintenance is part of the line itself, not a separate arrangement.
A day in the life of your app
Support in the app
You and your clients talk to Appfabriek in the app. An AI assistant answers questions. Changes only happen once a person approves them.
Errors go to an agent
Every 10 minutes new errors are reviewed and reported to the Dok agent. What needs a person goes to Geert.
A backup that counts
A backup only counts if it can be restored. That is tested every day, and every quarter we rehearse a restart from scratch.
App Store and Google Play
New versions, screenshots and release notes go to the stores through the line. A version that is too old asks to be updated.
Improvements for everyone
One server and one base for all apps. An improvement or security fix in Casco is in your app too with the next release.
Secure and European
Passkeys, encryption where it matters, data kept apart per app, on servers at a European company. Keys are in a vault, not with the agents.
What it costs
All costs plus 1%.
You pay what software really costs: the agents' tokens, Geert's hours at €150, hosting and support. 1% goes on top. That is the margin. If you have an app built, you see the real costs every month.
Six apps for the weighbridge, the shop floor, inspection, signatures and today's numbers. A year of free testing, then cost price plus 1%. businesscentral.software ⟶
Estimates for the products that are live: agent tokens plus hours, and per month the share of the shared servers. Tai Chi Guide was the first product; the first always takes longer. The agency figure is what one such app cost at Newminds, plus half a year. Current figures are on the homepage.
Who signs
The agents build, test and maintain. I decide what gets built and approve what matters.
Geert Rozendom, Hengelo, the Netherlands. An entrepreneur since he was 22, for twenty years co-founder and CTO of Newminds, working with Business Central since 2002, when it was still called Navision. Since November 2025 Appfabriek has been his workshop.
Questions
What people want to know first.
What does an app from Appfabriek cost?
You pay what the app really costs: the agents' tokens, Geert's hours at €150, hosting and support, plus 1%. The products that are live now cost roughly €450 to €5,400 to build, and roughly €1 to €24 a month to run. If you have an app built, you see the real costs every month.
Where does my app run?
On Dok, on servers at a European company. Your app gets its own domain with a website, a web app, passwordless sign-in and monitoring. Your app's data is kept apart from other apps.
Who maintains the app after launch?
The line. Dok checks every 5 minutes that everything runs, new errors are reviewed every 10 minutes, backups are restore-tested every day, and new versions go to the App Store and Google Play through the same line. Nothing reaches production without Geert's approval.
I already built an app, for instance with AI. Can you take it over?
Yes. The intake is free: the agents examine your app, and within one or two weeks you know what it costs. Then leaks are fixed, tests are written, and the app goes onto Dok, the App Store and Google Play. The code stays in your repo.
